The English translated manga are often notorious for mistranslation. (Also, for cutting things out.) Quite often I get the feeling the translators do not have either the time or the inclination to check the cultural references (careless use of given names in Prince of Tennis, for one). ~__~ I wouldn't be surprised if they made a mistake that big. I use the Korean version, and as Korean and Japanese have a lot of similarities in syntax and word usage, I trust it more than I do the English version.
